Matthew Dunford - Sales Manager
Matthew began his career in 1991 on a management development programme with NatWest, later progressing to a role at HSBC. In 2003, he transitioned into the automotive industry with Lloyds Auto Lease. He went on to work with major automotive brands including Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo, Renault, and Nissan. His career has taken him through several major dealer groups such as Listers, where he built deep expertise in finance and sales. In 2014, he joined MINI as a Senior Business Manager, working alongside Adam and Phil. Reconnecting with his former colleagues, Matthew joined Jacksons Motor Group in 2023, bringing decades of leadership to the sales team. In his spare time, he enjoys music, tech, and DIY.

James Collins - Sales Executive
James graduated from the University of Keele with a degree in Chemistry and originally set out to pursue a career in engineering. However, when the opportunity arose to work alongside his father, Phil, he made the leap into the motor industry and joined Jacksons Motor Group in early 2024. Since then, James has developed into a confident and knowledgeable Sales Executive, with a strong understanding of all major vehicle brands and a natural rapport with customers. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his partner and restoring classic cars -especially his favourite, the Morris Minor.

Carl Jones - Logistics & Transport
Carl joined Jacksons Motor Group in 2023, initially as a customer. Impressed by the way we do business, he soon became part of the team, taking on the vital role of Logistics Driver. Carl ensures vehicles are delivered promptly and professionally, often being the friendly face that customers first meet if being delivered. His varied background includes everything from working as a holiday rep in Turkey to caring for dogs at the Dogs Trust-where he proudly claims they were his favourite colleagues. In his spare time, Carl enjoys painting dog murals and crafting bespoke biscuit tables.

Andy Purvis - Vehicle Technician
Andy began his apprenticeship in 2018, gaining experience with both an HGV dealership and Halfords, where he developed strong technical fundamentals. He went on to work for Startin Group, servicing multiple brands including Peugeot, Skoda, and Suzuki. Later, he joined Hyundai, where he worked alongside future colleague Matthew Mulvale. Andy became part of the Jacksons Motor Group team in 2023 and played a key role in recruiting Matthew the following year. Known for his mechanical expertise and enthusiasm for the trade, Andy spends his spare time attending car meets-particularly with his collection of classic Volkswagens.

James Stanford - Vehicle Technician
James began his mechanical career in 1999, completing an apprenticeship in the military where he gained experience working on a wide range of vehicles in challenging environments. He formally entered the motor trade in 2002 and has since worked across nearly every major brand, building an exceptional breadth of technical knowledge. James joined Jacksons Motor Group in early 2024 and plays a key role in our preparation and service department, ensuring every vehicle is thoroughly inspected and ready for sale. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his two children, camping, and walking in the Gloucestershire countryside.

Matthew Mulvale - Vehicle Technician
Matthew began his motor trade career in 2016 with an apprenticeship at Volvo, where he built a strong foundation in technical diagnostics and vehicle servicing. He then moved to a large car supermarket, gaining valuable experience working across a wide range of manufacturers. Most recently, he was with Hyundai, where he worked alongside fellow technician Andy Purvis. In early 2024, Matthew joined Jacksons Motor Group, bringing a versatile skill set and a meticulous approach to our service team. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar and spending quality time with his daughter.
